We don’t have much to go on about this AMX, but maybe you don’t need much to know you want it! Fresh out of a 39-year ownership, the car is said to have been in dry storage and certainly looks it from the one picture we have in storage. It’s said to be a true Go Pack car, and a cross-ram intake and carbs are in the trunk. If it’s an STR-11 manifold, that’s an Edelbrock that was sold as a factory AMC part, and it’s extremely rare. The car is said to have been repainted once, but has solid floors and no rust is mentioned. The period Cragar SS mags really set it off nicely, even if they may offend purists! The AMX is located in Joliet, Illinois, and you can learn more about this car where it’s advertised here on eBay, or take a look at this site to learn more about AMX’s and Go Pack’s.

How exactly does one go through the entire ebay listing and not notice their pictures are all upside down? Boggles the mind.
I am extremely disappointed, he got one picture correct, and ruined his run.
Very nice car though. If I were a rich man, Yubba Dubba Dubba……..
Like jaygryph said it is so unbelievable you could post a listing like this and not notice the pics that they are upside down. Somebody has a problem with technology or just lack of smarts.
It also has the rare anti-gravity option. Alas you have to drive upside down.
I tell ya, when I first saw an AMX I was a sophomore or junior in high school and I was in love. Something about it just flicked my BIC. Still does.
Now he’s listed it a second time “to correct the picture problem”…

Reminds me of a young associate of my Dad who drove his new ’68 AMX to the house one Saturday to deliver some papers. He took me for a ride and I was all of 14…………..was super cool
