Event Driver: 1958 Alfa Romeo Spider

1958 Alfa Romeo Spider Driver Front

There are always a few Alfa Romeo Spiders at the high dollar classic rallies like the Colorado Grand, so picking one up seems like an affordable way to participate in events. They are not cheap, but they are also not as expensive as the cars that they normally run with. This 1958 Alfa Romeo Spider is claimed to be very original with only 79k miles. Find it here on eBay with bidding only at $3,500 and no reserve!

1958 Alfa Romeo Spider Driver Back

The seller does not provide many details or photos, but they do state that the car is still wearing its original paint and that it is in excellent condition mechanically. You will want to get more information and photos from the seller before bidding too high. You many also want to inspect this one and check for rust, but if it really is all original and the bidding doesn’t get too high this could be an amazing deal. These are great driving cars with their peppy twin cam engine and Italian good looks.

Only two photos and no feedback rating for the seller?

The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the picture was, “Ghia”. What a beauty!

First thing that pops into my mind is internet scam, upon further review internet scam. Great condition description, zero feedback, located in town you never heard of. Do not send deposit without someone you know physically touching this one.

Just Googled Yarnell, AZ. I have a brother two hours away, in Mesa. If his wife hadn’t had cancer surgery this past Thursday, I would have to talk him into riding up and seeing if this is the real deal. At least taking some pics.

Yes, and did you notice how quickly this one was declared “sold.?” Methinks something foul afoot.
