This 1959 Edsel Corsair is close to me in Selma, North Carolina. It’s up for sale here on eBay, where the opening bid is $1,600 without a reserve. It’s been in storage for over 30 years, and both the brakes and engine have seized. That engine was a 361 Super Express V-8 that originally had 303 HP and 390 foot-pounds of torque according to the seller. The wiper motor, ashtray, and air cleaner are the parts missing, and the seller is willing to knock $150 off the price and replace the wheels and tires with something else if they can keep the ones that are on the car (which aren’t even matched). The chrome looks good in the pictures and the interior is a very unusual gold that might be able to be saved. There is one really rusty rocker panel and certainly some other work will need to be done cosmetically, but I think this old car deserves it. What do you think?
