FREE Fiero: Great Start For Your Kit Car!

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

Here’s the perfect donor for your Lamborghini kit car!  The owner also has a spare engine and transmission that go with it. Other than the obvious use, this may make a good parts car for your Fiero. It’s located in Miami, Florida and is listed here on craigslist. Thanks goes to Scott L for sharing the tip. Multiple people have showed interest, but no one has showed up with a trailer yet so you’d better hurry!

And worth every penny. Bring a snakebite kit and/or wrangler.

Looks like the car trailer was abandoned about the same time from the size of the tree that was growing through it. But the price is right.
Actually we had an 86 Fiero GT and it was a lot of fun to drive. I like the looks of the GT better than the notch back.

“Nothing is free.”….. At least that’s what my ex-wife told me at court!

A fella just posted on the local Chattanooga, TN “letgo” app a beautiful red 1988 Fiero GT. It looks well cared for inside and out. The ad states “There is nothing wrong with it except it needs a new radio” and “I have all the service records on it.” It’s a manual shift and it’s listed for $7,500 OBO. Getting a car for free is usually, but not always better.

    Umm,
As long as u dont use parts with vin #s for your project, with later model cars and no title you never know what this car could’ve been involved in.

Nothing like having the fancy hat wearing gentleman from your local municipality showing up and carting off your hard work..

Bought a trans am in similar state. Sat for years abandoned at self storage place till they had an auction (yuuuup!..), come to find out when I filed for title there was a claim on it from a “buy here pay here dealer”.. Called local police, they secured the trans am in impound until original dealer claimed it.. They were unsympathetic to the 2500.00 I spent and of course I never saw my money or the car again..

Lesson learned. Nothing is free. Very rarely is anything truly abandoned.

I would have gotten my money back from the self storage company or the auction company.

All states have lien sale procedures that clear out all previous liens.

True @miguel, that part wasn’t done by storage company. No lein sale or otherwise. Not all these storage places are big chains that follow the law. Some mom and pops just tell a story then sell strangers belongings due to non payment. Cruel but true.

Some times it is buyer beware, even free.

Not to far for me. I would go and get the police to come out with me to make sure I don’t have to worry about getting in trouble with the law. Nice car never seen one in person but I would love to restore a car one day.

How lazy do you have to be to not move the trailer when you see a sapling starting to grow up in the middle?
