Christmas has come and gone, but we still wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holidays. We took a few days off to spend it with family and we hope you were able to do the same. This photo was taken just around the corner from our office. The guy has about 20 old trucks strewn around the lot so there may be a few barn finds in the making there. We hope you woke up on Christmas morning and found something special in your own barn. Let us know if Santa brought you a gift with four wheels this year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us!
I sell cars so I placed 3 cars under someone’s tree! Hopefully not in their barn!
Although not four wheeled my wife got me a model kit of a 4 cylinder SOHC engine close to the ones in our Porsche 944s. She bought it knowing an old gearhead like me would like it for its toy value and she would learn more the parts and workings of our cars as she helped me assemble it. A perfect gift.
I got my Miss Kitty (96′ XJR) a new car cover (WI). I have got throttle body issues to look forward to in the Spring, also got a “battery tender” as these eat batteries, at $200+ a crack (Interstate) I do appreciate it. *HAPPY NEW YEAR*
Kids were all gone to their inlaws this year so we had a pretty laid back Christmas. My wife always contributes to my (anything mechanical) addiction by keeping my magazine subscriptions current. Last year she sent me (as a bidder) to the Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale; she just about didn’t get me back. This year there was a (rough but fixable) ’42 Ford Deluxe 4-door growing out of our garden patch so I’ll call that my Christmas present.
My wife got me a set of duck boards for my 1974 volkswagon thing. She knew I had been eyeing these for a while……..
That’s an old US Forest Service Truck! Awesome!
