If you’ve been waiting for a 1969 Camaro project with all the right bones, this numbers-matching example might be exactly what you’ve been hunting for. Listed here on eBay, this original V8 coupe is stripped, media blasted, and ready to head straight to the body shop. With a clean title, matching engine, transmission, and rear end, all documented with date codes, this car represents a solid foundation to build your dream Camaro exactly how you want it. It’s located in a climate-controlled garage and comes with plenty of original parts and extras to get you started.

The seller has already done much of the heavy lifting, including having the body media blasted and treated with anti-corrosion inhibitor. The car remains mounted on a high-quality Jegs rotisserie with custom mounts, which is included in the sale. Interior support tubing was welded in prior to teardown to preserve the structure, and the photos show solid rockers, frame rails, and structural points, likely thanks to its Georgia origins.

The original 350 V8 is included and turns freely, though it wasn’t running when purchased. The engine comes mounted on a portable stand for easy transport. The matching automatic transmission and rear end are also accounted for, adding to the car’s collectibility and long-term value.

This is very much a blank canvas, but a well-prepared one. The interior is completely stripped, and a brand-new full floor pan with seat bases is included (still in the box). The horseshoe shifter and center console setup are present, and original reusable components were carefully stored, while worn or non-original parts were discarded.

Some parts like the front fenders and original glass were deemed unusable and scrapped, but what remains is well-documented. Crates and boxes of original parts come with the car, along with brand-new tires for easier transport. With a clean title, factory air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes, this was a well-equipped car from day one, and could be again.

Would you restore this 1969 Camaro to factory specs, or build your own take on classic American muscle?

Regardless of what you might do with this car it’s certainly a great package to start out with.
You’re right bob, nice start with numbers matching drivetrain! Back in 81, I purchased a maroon 69 with white top and interior. It had a 307 auto and was quite sick. We had a donor 71 Caprice with 400 SB, 4 bolt main and 400 turbo tranny. Later added a .411 rearend that really woke it up. Stripped it to the metal, purchased a cowl hood, spoiler and Z emblems smoothed out and sprayed it silver. It turned out pretty nice. Also bought a new set of 15X8 Western “period correct” turbine rims. Another of many I wish I’d kept!
Yawn. Another 69 Camaro.
heres another person who bought a complete car as the pics shows then rips the a** out of it and now wants to sell it. why not leave it complete if you were going to sell it
SOLD for $7,300.
