Can I get a speed check on I95 North, mile marker 27?” The Citizens Band (CB) radio tapped drivers into a ’70s social network of truck drivers, wanna-be truckers, and highway stars. Owning a CB didn’t make a jive turkey cool, but it upped your game for sure. Other custom touches on this ’69 including rocker switches and a rad’ clock cut into the dashboard. Sling a pair of fuzzy dice over the rear view mirror and you’re putting down some groovy vibes.

Nothing says “fearsome speed” like a flimsy trailer hitch. Anything that hauls a 14 foot Johnboat to the river can surely smoke some fools when the light turns green.
