This 1955 Cadillac series 62 appears to be one of three that the seller bought. It would seem he’s selling this one because it has too many doors and he has one too many Cadillacs. The seller doesn’t provide any information beyond claiming it’s a solid car. The grill and back bumper look complete and undamaged, and it even has the hubcaps. The asking price seems reasonable at $3,200 if the rust isn’t too bad and the engine is good. Sadly, it could go for parts, but wouldn’t it be great if one could repair the mechanical issues, clean it up, and drive it like it is? Find it here on craigslist near Cleveland. If I had some cash I would fix up a four door. Engine, suspension upgrades, brakes, paint and interior.. This one could be a candidate.
This is close enough to me that if it was a 2Dr I would possibly go look at it. Went right past Lorain Ohio on our way back from the Pontiac show yesterday actually. Lot of older cars sitting down there. Almost bought a blue 2Dr 25 years ago and wished I had later. Also wish I had bought the black 55 flower car. Was basically a stretched 4dr. I originally thought a limousine till I learned about flower cars.
