Some enthusiasts will take one look at this 1967 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport and decide that it is a total package. From its impressive presentation to its big-block V8, it delivers excellent performance and space to seat six adults comfortably. It requires nothing more than a new home and is ideal for someone seeking a turnkey classic. I must say a big thank you to Barn Finder Curvette for spotting the Impala listed here on eBay in Clearwater, Florida. The seller set their BIN at $57,900 with the option to make an offer.

Chevrolet’s Fourth Generation Impala proved a mega-hit upon its 1965 release. Buyers couldn’t wait to get their hands on one, and the badge set an industry sales record in its first production year. A 1967 styling update further enhanced the Impala’s popularity, which is when this SS rolled off the line. It presents superbly in Sierra Fawn and Capri Cream, with both shades correct as verified by the original Build Sheet. The seller is sparing with their information, so it is unclear whether this classic has undergone restoration. However, the lack of cosmetic flaws suggests this may be the case, with the paint shining intensely, and the panels as straight as an arrow. The seller provides a comprehensive image gallery, confirming that this gem is as rust-free as the day it left the line. The glass and trim are excellent, and the Rally wheels are a later addition.

Potential buyers considering the future investment potential of this Impala will welcome one crucial piece of news: This classic is numbers-matching. Its mechanical specifications promise exhilarating performance, with its L35 version of the 396ci V8 delivering a factory-quoted 325hp and 410 ft/lbs of torque. The rest of the drivetrain should make life behind the wheel pretty effortless, comprising a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. This SS will tip the scales just north of 4,000 lbs, but with so much power and torque on tap, the driver will hardly notice it. The seller provides no information about the car’s mechanical condition, and there is no indication that the news will be anything other than good.

The seller’s selection of interior images presents a positive impression, showing the retro-style stereo as the only visible aftermarket addition. Trimmed in Tan vinyl, there is no visible wear or signs of abuse. The dash is excellent, and the pad is crack-free. There are no creature comforts beyond the stereo, but the front bench seat makes this classic undeniably practical. If you’re an enthusiast with a family, this Impala should allow the whole tribe to become part of the ownership and motoring experience.

If you remove the retro stereo and the Rally wheels from the equation, this 1967 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport presents as an original survivor. Its appearance is guaranteed to draw favorable comments, while lifting the hood will command respect. The seller’s price is hardly chickenfeed, and some readers may consider it optimistic. However, the listing statistics suggest that there are people who like what they see. Only time will tell whether that interest translates into sales success. Do you think that it will?

If I wanted to peruse PJ’s inventory, I could just go on their website and not have to pay a membership fee.
Is this a different car than the one Dixon recently wrote up ? The seller has an interesting inventory Rex.
yeah, I know, Stan. I go in there from time to time. My point is that this site shouldn’t be a place to feature dealers’ cars. But maybe BF is getting paid by the dealers.
Wow Curvette, you really like that PJ’s Autoworld!
That’s 3 postings in a row for PJ’s Autoworld. Nice job Curvette!👍
it must be like ground hog day with this dealer. 3 listings really. i feel that it should be limited to 1 per day. it’s just an idea. more to life than PJ S AUTO WORLD.
I counted 50 cars on PJ’s website. So only another 47 cars to go!
A SS with bench seats? Just doesn’t seem right to me. A full size car with no AC doesn’t seem right to me. 60K for this car doesn’t seem right to me.
I guess I’ll pass.
Noticed that too with column shifter maybe it was special ordered that way?
Buckets were originally part of the Impala SS’s standard equipment, but by 67 the Impala SS was just a couple badges and a blacked out grill. The base engine/trans in the 67 SS was the 250 6 cylinder and a 3 speed column shift trans, and if you ordered an automatic and didn’t order the buckets and console you got a column shifter. I think only the 67 SS427, which was a whole separate option from the regular SS, came with bucket seats, a console and some other unique SS427 features.
Chevelle SS’s and Nova SS’s came with bench seats too, with buckets and the console each having to be ordered separately. Camaros back then came with a column shift automatic if the console wasn’t ordered.
Over priced or not this a really pretty car, but the white letter tires look out of place to me. A set of white walls or redlines would look a lot better on it.
@gbvette62 ‘s comment above is incorrect as to Impalas. Chevelle SS’s in 66 and later came with standard bench seats, but not Impala SS’s through 67 at least. See my comment farther down.
Yep. The 66 Caprice with the buckets, console and a 327 is a better deal at $31,900. And probably not much slower than this 396-325, which was never a stout runner (only mid 15s in an SS Chevelle).
Way overpriced in my mind
It be worth the money if it had bucket seats and center counsel

Four wheel Disc Brakes (small center caps). I don’t know what’s going the steering column but someone forgot to fix that ( wrong color & maybe scratches on the column by the 4 way flashers, wrong in color from top of the steering wheel all the way down. The automatic transmissions gear Indicator is the correct color! I look at all the classic car dealerships car, I personally like when they post on BF. Then I go to their website and compare (there no comparison) and it would give me the price of a shining new one, go to BF & find a restorable restoration candidate. Minus the BF price and that’s what you have left to work with. So if want restore Granny’s Cadillac (I would have loved to have my granny’s. 63 4 door, beige AND reverse all the way down in the PND123R position. Everytime I see that I think of “Toad” from American Graffiti 1973 and that beautiful 58 Impala. People in the know…..KNOW!
19995, tops.
Buckets and a console were standard equipment in a 67 Impala SS, even in a 3-on-the-tree car (which received an automatic console with a block-off plate over the shifter hole).
But the Strato-bench seat as seen on this car (which is basically 2 buckets with the bottom cushions connected in the center) was an available option in any SS. Which obviously eliminated the standard console when ordered and kicked the shifter back up to the column on an automatic car.
Stuff like this smells like a dealer order for stock.
