READER AD: 1967 International Harvester 1300B

SOLD

Reader John D found this 1967 International Harvester Dually in a woodworking shop. It had been parked there for the past 18 years and after getting it out of the dusty shop, he couldn’t believe how nice this truck really is. The odometer shows just 8,132 miles and while it has some documentation to back it up, he’s working on getting more to help prove this really is a low mileage survivor. With just a little work, he has it running and ready for the road! If you’d love to have this IH, be sure to take a closer look at his ad via the link below.

Asking Price: $8,900
Location: Cape Coral, Florida

So, what do you think of this low mileage dually? It looks like it could be a sweet rig and would be fun to have. Be sure to have a closer look at it and let us know if you’d love to have it!

I like this on being a IH and odd ball too!

I don’t buy the mileage as the oil pan shot from underneath Craigslist has baked oil but who cares on the miles . The interior is clean too.
This was probably a workshop light hauler with 108k highway miles. (No farm truck hauling beatings here)
I am thinking its a 4-5k truck with just a flat bed though .

    I would drive it !

I’d rather have this with mileage verified or not, more so than the 2003 Silverado listed with similar mileage. Just more class…too many silver Silverados on the road where I live.

That little 266 V-8 is almost bullet proof.
The truck is illegal to drive as-is. It needs rear fenders, mud flaps, and clearance and ICC lights (because it’s over 80″ wide). It originally had a service or pickup body as those could be ordered from the factory, or it could have been a cab/chassis. I’m going to speculate that it was originally a SRW configuration that had DRW’s added due to the absence of the marker lights (mandatory on DRW trucks), and the absence of a pickup bed that probably had SRW fenders. I really have an immense disrespect for ignorant truck flippers.

I would buy it and put an original IH pickup bed back on it and love it to death.

Wheelbase is incorrect for a pickup bed. GVW is 7000#. At that weight marker lights are not necessary. And back in the 60s I don’t believe DOT regulations were that strict.

Truck is sold for $7000, thank y’all for looking. I just received the certified title search from NC that shows just over 6k miles when title was transferred in 2000 from OH to NC. The buyer gets all paperwork. Turns out… I should have listed this as a cab n chassis. Pickup was the wrong description. GREAT website here!!
