The 1969 Camaro is one of those cars that never lost its cool, and this example here on eBay shows why people chase them year after year. Finished in gray, it looks like a clean slate waiting for the next round of work. The odometer shows 94,523 miles, the title is clean, and it’s been with the current owner in Kansas for about five years. Unlike some first-gen projects that are nothing but rust and broken dreams, this one already has the hard parts tackled.

According to the seller, all the metal work has been done the right way. No bondo hiding underneath, no sketchy patches slapped on to get it out the door. The underside has been undercoated, which means the floor should stay solid for years to come. The firewall is smooth, giving the engine bay a cleaner look once a motor goes back in. A complete front clip comes with the car, which is a big deal since sourcing one can be a project all by itself.

The deal also includes some options. Two hoods are part of the package, a standard flat hood and a cowl hood. Having both means the next owner can choose whether to keep the stock vibe or lean toward a more aggressive muscle car look. Inside, a full set of seats comes with the car, saving one more headache in the parts hunt.

Out back, the Camaro has been mini-tubbed, so there’s room for wider rubber. That makes it easier to set the car up for drag racing, pro-touring, or just a meaner street stance. The rear axle is a 10-bolt posi unit, and the front end is fitted with disc brakes — both upgrades that give this shell an advantage over the typical roller that needs everything.

No engine is installed right now, which is actually a plus. The new owner isn’t stuck with an old small block or mystery motor. It’s open to a big block, LS swap, or whatever fits the build plan. With the hard work already done and a clean title in hand, this Camaro is ready to move forward instead of backward.

Compared to the rusted-out shells that pop up online, this one looks like a project you can actually build on. It’s solid, it’s straight, and it has the basics included. For someone looking to get into a ’69 Camaro without starting at square one, it’s a pretty strong place to begin.

Solid start with hefty bin but maybe worth it with the hard stuff done.
“Finished in gray.” Is that a joke?
Title is clean????description on ebay says its a non-highway title. Might sound easy to get a standard title…dmv will make you jump thru some hoops for sure.
Will require a state inspection as a minimum when completed. I appreciate work completed. But ALWAYS hard to pick up where someone else left off. Current bid $5,000+ is about correct right now.
It looks like a RS car, slots below the bumper for backup lights are there. If it is a RS car, then make sure inner fenders are for a RS car, they are different from a non RS car. If I was younger, I would buy this for $10,000, install the Chevelle SS 396 engine I have, along with the big block springs, the Muncie trans. I would also check to see if the cowl hood is a Chinese report or nos. I would use my nos cowl hood I have had since 1983. My problem would be finding a 12 bolt rear. I would get one with 4.10 gears. They are so much fun. Not much good for highway cruising though. That would be a big expense. I am just too old to do anymore projects. Good luck to the buyer
Inner and outer fenders are different for RS.
buy now price is high. some people may not like the body mods. could be a hard sell
Are you kidding me? BIN of $18K????? Even the $5K bid is ridiculous.
