One of the more unusual British finds I’ve seen lately is this Armstrong Siddeley fixed-head coupe (no, that’s not a convertible top, it’s just damaged). It’s located in Honesdale, Pennsylvania and is up for sale here on eBay. Said to be only missing the radiator grille and needing roof and running boards, it even runs around the yard, although the brakes work “slightly.” I think I’d want that fixed before I tried driving it! There’s a passionate fan base for these in the UK and a very active club, with others located worldwide, but you rarely see one here. With a very distinctive sphinx hood ornament and distinctive and classy styling, this car if restored could be the star of any European auto event. Yes, there’s some rust underneath (it is British, after all) and I’m sure the local auto parts store won’t have the slightest idea what it is when you ask for parts (a major online parts house carries a horn relay and ignition components, believe it or not). But think of the fun you’ll have making the trafficators work again!

Would make an unusual entry at local car shows!
Uploaded a pic with how it should look with the grill..
Oh Dear, Smiths gauges and a Petrol gauge. Could be a very stylish car but I think somewhat primitive construction. I think it would be a very tough restoration. The interior wood needs replacing ( need a carpenter). Underside is rusty although the frame looks ok. Perhaps the value is worth the work involved or if it goes to someone that really loves Armstong Siddeley’s……
You forgot to mention it had one of the best gearboxes in the world, (Preselect).
Mine was super slick on changes.
ho una armstrong siddeley typhoon se qualcuno mi aiuta non so come è fatto il tettuccio grazie
