Update 7/22/11 – Looks like this one sold quick!

With clean GTV’s fetching over $20k at auction, this driver quality 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV looks like a bargain. This car is available on eBay with a BIN price of only $6,500! Pick it up quick before this deal is gone.

These cars were very cutting edge when new. They featured a smooth revving twin-cam engine connected to a five speed gearbox. Disc brakes all around was standard too. We love the styling of these cars and they make for fun drivers. This car is said to be running well and has had an older color change. You can see the original color on the inner fenders. Besides a few bad spots in the paint, this car looks fairly clean and very original.

This car needs a little work, but it couldn’t take much to make it a daily driver. The seller says that there is some rust and it wouldn’t hurt to get the tank sealed. We would want to get the tank sealed on this car if it is original anyways because they are known to leak. We would sort out any mechanical issues, order some new seat covers, and just drive it.
