Believe it or not, this 1994 Chevrolet W/T 1500 4×4 5-speed pickup is only the second 1994 Chevy pickup we’ve seen here on Barn Finds, and the last one was back in 2019. I can’t imagine a nicer truck for the seller’s $3,400 asking price, especially one with 4WD, a 5-speed manual, and cold AC. They have it posted here on craigslist just southeast of Denver, Colorado. Here is the original listing, and thanks to Mike F. for the tip!

First things first, this work truck (W/T) has 182,000 miles, some visible rust, and a lot of little nicks and dings. That being said, we hear a lot here on Barn Finds about trailer queen trucks and this one is anything but that. Plus, all four wheels provide power to the ground, and you can shift this one yourself. Plus, it’s a regular long box so you can haul things, as a work truck should be able to do.

And that price, what can you get for $3,400 anymore with all of those features? Not much. I spend that much every year storing a bunch of weirdo little motorcycles that I don’t even use that often, what a waste of money. I should buy this truck instead. The fourth-generation C/K-series Chevy pickups were made from 1986 through 2000 in the regular and extended cab consumer pickup versions, and until 2002 in the one-ton C3500HD version. The four-door version was offered from 1991 through 2000, but this regular cab would work for me.

This seller has detailed the heck out of this truck, and it looks great in the photos. Sadly, they didn’t include an engine photo, but look how nice the interior looks for a 182k-mile work truck! The tough fabric seat looks really nice, and the five-speed manual shifter is even nicer. Not to mention (again) that the air-conditioning is said to work. Cold AC in a 31-year-old work truck, that’s quite a feat.

Here’s where I’d normally put an engine photo, but there isn’t one, so I’m including this shot of the transfer case shifter. The engine is Chevrolet’s 4.3-liter OHV V6, which would have had 165 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque when new. It’s said to run perfectly, and the seller also mentions there’s a new clutch for the 5-speed manual, a new battery, and a new alternator. If this truck were close by I’d have to check it out for sure. I don’t know how you can go wrong here. What are your thoughts on this cheap Chevy 4×4 5-speed pickup?

Landscapers special. Love it. 5sp, lever t-case, 4wd for a liteweight snow plow if req’d. Enjoyed the article SG 👍
Thank you, sir. I really like this rig, and that price seems too good to be true.
I WANT THIS TRUCK!!! MINE, MINE, MINE!!! Ok sorry for the yelling but that price and everything else, its perfect for me. 4.3 V6 will run forever the 5 speed is a huge plus, anf like Stan, shifter for the 4WD. Doesnt get any better than this, and if it gets a new door ding at Home Depot it will match the other dings. Very clean truck, although my feet will go flying the first time I go to use the clutch from all the Armor All on the floor lol. Love this truck Scotty, great write up, I enjoyed it a lot.
Ha! The Armor All comment was great! This one would really be fun to own if it weren’t a 14-hour drive away. I’d much rather have that than my little orange “truck.”
GAA! It’s gone, dang it!
Good Grief!! At that price I’m not surprised!!!
Am I the only klutz that went sailing in a pickup truck with a fresh coat of Armor All on the vinyl floor? Better yet, when it gets on the pedals…… Even better lol.

I tried to buy it. I called Tuesday, no answer. Called yesterday, the buyer was there picking it up when I called. Dang! Missed! Would have looked good next to my 2 other trucks, only one of which I need. Perfect long term vehicle.
Oh well, gotta be able to take a joke….
HOLD ON, I was told by a Chevy dealer mine was the last 2 dr,4wd ,,, granted it was a Silverado said to be the VERY last one ???? I just sold it for 27,500.,00buying a 2o22 Wildcat Bronco fully loaded, WOW what a great truck, The mechanic who bought it had been looking for years. Had see my truck at a restaurant but could not find me till he found out I had been on TEAM ONE SEAL/UDT since 1955 and then GOSH DANG h had been based in Litte creek where ii had been for 43 yearn, He had been on the later 1962 teams OfficiallyTEAM ONE,
Wow! that was a steal! probably bought by a flipper. nice truck.
These were everywhere. Seemed you either bought a loaded up Silverado or this. The six with a 5-speed is an excellent combo. Those who use Armour All miss the step of buffing the surface to remove the excess.
Larceny, on the part of the buyer. I have a 96 in very similar condition, same motor but just 2wd automatic AC PB PS rhino lined bed and side-to-side tool box. Nothing else extra. Traded even my 1990 Corvette I rarely drove for truck couple months ago. When the guy flips the car I hope he does well, he will surely get much more cash than the truck would draw. But no way would I reverse the trade. I have gotten more use out of this truck in a couple months than the Vette in half a dozen years. I love it.
Best generation of trucks GM ever built, in my opinion. If they were smart enough to still build them like that, they wouldn’t be able to build them fast enough
