We see our share of classics crossing our desks at Barn Finds where sellers make bold rarity claims. Some don’t stand up to close scrutiny, but those confirmed by documentary evidence are worth more than a passing glance. This 1967 Ford F250 4×4 Pickup falls into that category, with the included Marti Report indicating that it is 1-of-199 examples produced during that model year featuring this paint and trim combination. It is a rock-solid vehicle that provides its new owner with the choice between preserving the Pickup as a survivor or performing a restoration that would return this gem to its factory form. The seller has listed the F250 here on eBay in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. Bidding sits below the reserve at $15,100 with plenty of time remaining for potential bidders to ensure that their financial ducks are in a row before making a play for this beauty.
The F-Series joined Ford’s model range in the booming post-war years and has remained a company staple ever since. The Fifth Generation graced showroom floors from 1966 until 1972, although it remained available in overseas markets for considerably longer. The original owner ordered this first-year example in Lunar Green, with the seller indicating that it has never undergone restoration. Therefore, the tired state of the paint and the presence of surface corrosion are unsurprising. However, when we dig below the surface, this F250 is as solid as a rock. The seller treated the exterior with boiled linseed oil for preservation, meaning that there should be no further significant deterioration. That would allow the winning bidder to opt for conservation, although returning the panels and paint to their former glory should be straightforward. It is disappointing that the seller was unable to provide better exterior images that show the F250 at its best, but it seems that the weather refused to cooperate. They appear approachable and may be willing to furnish better shots to interested parties. The photos reveal a couple of minor trim imperfections that I consider acceptable in a vehicle of this type, but the glass and larger wheels are in good condition.
The first owner equipped this Pickup with the range-topping 352ci V8, teamed with a dual-range transfer case, a four-speed manual transmission, and a 4.56 Dana 60 limited-slip rear end. The company’s Sales Brochure quotes power and torque figures of 208hp and 315 ft/lbs, allowing this classic to cope with almost anything the environment can throw at it. There is no specific information supplied regarding the Pickup’s mechanical health, but I would describe the engine bay presentation as “honest.” The seller hasn’t cleaned or detailed this aspect of the F250, which is typically a sign that they have nothing to hide.
Potential buyers should probably consider this interior as serviceable, because it is unclear what hides beneath the slipcover. The interior trim shade of Green vinyl forms part of this Pickup’s claim to fame, with the Marti Report indicating that only 199 buyers teamed this with the Lunar Green exterior. That makes this a relatively rare beast and may influence the path the winning bidder will take once the F250 is safely tucked away in their garage. However, that is a decision that doesn’t need to be rushed, allowing the buyer to consider their options carefully. It isn’t lavishly equipped by any means, but most people will welcome the AM radio.
It will be fascinating to gauge your feedback on this 1967 Ford F250 4×4 Pickup to learn what you would do if it found its way into your workshop. There is no denying that it possesses mountains of character, and it would undoubtedly turn heads in its current form. I would probably perform a full restoration on the interior to provide a striking contrast between a pristine aspect of the vehicle and one that shouts loudly and proudly that this F250 has worked to justify its existence. So, it’s over to you to have your say.

Wonder if it ever saw plow ❄️ duty. Plenty of winter in Woodstock back in the day.
Aside from recovering the seat to factory spec (if it needs it) it would be moronic to change anything cosmetically on this truck. It shows its age perfectly. Hopefully the next owner won’t destroy that.
Agreed! Perfect truck to clearcoat and leave it as is.
6800 # GVW have trucks come a long way or what?
The reason virtually no one chose this color combo is that they don’t go together.
Rare ≠ Valuable
There’s no colour combo. It’s just one colour and it looks great.
Wonder if it was always a Canadian vehicle, or if it came north recently? Lots of snow in that area & as a southern Ontario resident, I know they salt the roads quite heavily.
