About Conrado Vazquez Del Moral

Some of my earliest memories of cars are from the junkyards of Brooklyn in the late 1970s. My father would take me along when he was working on his cars, send me into the yard to find parts, and have me bring them home so we could put them to use. I didn't realize it at the time, but those trips started a lifelong passion for old cars. Since then I've owned everything from a 1931 Ford Model A Roadster and a 1956 DeSoto to Pontiac LeMans convertibles, a C10, a low-mileage Cadillac, and nine first-generation Mustangs. I also mechanically restored a 1952 Ford 8N. My current car is a 1991 Mustang GT Convertible that I found on Craigslist from a retired couple with only 14,000 original miles. They practically interviewed me before agreeing to sell it, and I told them the Minnie Mouse antenna topper had to stay with the car or I didn't want it. We laughed, and I think that helped seal the deal. I bought it in 2023, have barely driven it, and still keep in touch with them by sending pictures of the Mustang when it wins awards at local shows.
