Beverly Hills Warehouse Find

1967-pontiac-gto-warehouse-find-front-corner

Each day the mystery behind the warehouse that holds the Sunbeam Tiger and De Tomaso Pantera we recently featured is becoming clearer, but there are still plenty of questions to be answered. The seller has been slowly listing more and more of the cars that are stashed away in there. Today they listed this 1967 Pontiac GTO, a 1970 Jaguar E-Type, and several other vehicles on eBay.

Again, the seller didn’t list much information about this GTO. They claim that it was run eight years ago and that it has an automatic transmission. They did clarify the location better and we now know that this collection is definitely in California. The Pantera and the Sunbeam can be seen parked on either sides of the GTO.

The images of the E-Type reveals more cars in this warehouse and a little about how they have been stored. At least a few of the cars have been blocked up, but they obviously haven’t been touched for many years. This find might be worth making the trip to see! If anyone is in the area, go take a look and let us know! We will keep you guys updated as more information on this find surfaces.

I am curious of why the back tail light is not fully in place, and if you zoom in I can see a little corrosion on the light itself. Just wondering if trunk use to leak

If it’s in L A and in a warehouse on top of it, I’d have to guess they took it apart to look at and left it like that.
Here you don’t worry about moisture, really.

Obviously there’s been some problems inside the back of the GTO. I tend to agree with Steve. I’d want to have a look in there.

These are certainly interesting, but I notice that there are some pretty hefty reserves on the majority of these cars. This seller isn’t taking any chances.

anybody know where the warehouse is?

Nice looking GTO….what you can see of it anyway. The car is already bid to the bottom of the price range of a #2 condition GTO coupe and the reserve hasn’t been hit yet. It might be rot free, but it’s nowhere near #2 condition. Then there’s the fact that GM made 72,205 GTO coupes in 1967, making this a pretty common model in the collectible muscle car world.

I might be wrong, but I’m guessing that with those dungeon-like pictures it’s going to be hard to get someone to spend the big money that it looks like it will take to buy this.

MUCH BETTER! You slandered us guys that saved the lumps that otherwise would now be in your ‘aisian’ cars MUCH LESS!!
If we horders haden’t drug them to our cave, many would be scrapped long ago, we got them because no one wanted them–then!
I payed $150.00 for a FORMULA 2 car in parts in the 70’s and have horded it –shame, I shudda scrapped it HUH?

When cars were for fun, any kid could afford one, When I was 16, I bought a 34 ford Cabrolet for $45.00 and drove it home and then horrible things to that NOW too valuable car cuz I enjoyed it! It didn’t make it to Monterey but DID provide a step to a lifelong hobby. Does the US have a mag about that? In the UK there at least was PRACTICAL CLASSICS mag.
Lots there still play with their not exotic car toys

Wonder if Leno knows about these cars.

Is that the “His & Hers” shifter?

Spell much? Bevelry is spelled Beverly. Revels is spelled reveals.

The GTO was bid to $22,600 but did not make the reserve, so unsold
