The Lincoln Continental Mark III might have been boxier than its predecessor, but it was possibly one of Lincoln’s sleekest designs. Its slab sides and massive proportions gave it serious presence, even parked next to a Rolls-Royce. This one ups the sleek factor with custom touches that really make it stand out. It’s had a ton of work done recently, so it’s ready to drive. The seller has decided it’s time to part ways with it, so they are offering it here as a Barn Finds Auction with a reserve. It’s located in Metamora, Ohio, with a clean title and is showing 28,789 miles.

At some point in this Lincoln’s past, someone decided to shave the door handles and badging. While customization isn’t for everyone, it does suit the Mark III’s clean lines. The seller installed new door poppers so the doors open easily. The custom rims give the car a more menacing look, and are currently wearing a set of new tires.

The inside is original, with comfortable white leather-wrapped seats, wood-grain dash inserts, black carpets, and a Cartier-branded clock. The seats show some discoloration, but there aren’t any signs of tears or excessive wear. The dash looks nice, with no cracks or damage. It’s equipped with power windows, power seats, automatic climate control, and a newer Alpine stereo.

Moving all this luxury around takes some power, so we find a 460 cui V8 under the hood. It’s rated at 365 horsepower and is routed through a 3-speed automatic. It recently received a new carburetor, fuel pump, water pump, and radiator to ensure it runs its best. The seller also installed a new A/C compressor, but the system still needs to be charged. It also received a brake rebuild with new lines, so it’s ready to enjoy!

This Lincoln is really quite sharp-looking. The black paint with black vinyl roof makes the brightwork really pop, while the shaved door handles keep the sides extra smooth and flowing. The interior looks sharp and like a very comfortable place to be. It would be worth getting the air conditioning working so you can enjoy it year-round, but with cooler weather approaching, you could start enjoying it right away. If you’d love to hit the road in this sleek Lincoln, be sure to cast your high bid.
