If you are in the market for a convertible with a big block, then do we have a deal for you! This 1969 Plymouth Sport Fury may not be the most desirable Mopar ever built, but its big and beautiful. The seller claims that it has been partially restored and that it has a low mileage 440 under the hood. The seller also mentions that it has been garaged for the last 20 years and that it can be driven home today. The best part is that they are only asking $2,800 here on craigslist. It’s locatbed in Moline, Illinois and credit goes to Virginia Tex for the tip!

Cheap BB Convertible: 1969 Plymouth Sport Fury

That is dirt cheap, what’s the catch?
Yeah why,,,,,? other then a shabby interior and a needy roof it dont look too bad, wish I had the price, I’d rock it.
I had a ’70 Fury Gran Coupe with a 383. It was a fantastic highway cruiser. For $2800, this car is a bargain.
Might be because the engine is a 73″. You don’t know if it was a 318 car. Good part it’s cheap and already burns unleaded. Someone will snap this up.
If this isn’t some scammer, this is a smokin deal. The 440 and 727 are worth a grand on their own.
Lots of work needed on the interior and top. However I don’t think that’s a bad price as the body looks very clean. Why is it I never have the money when something like this comes up? It would be a fun summer cruiser.
Oh hell yeah! Show up with cash and I bet you could get it for 2500. Have fun all summer long and never put the top up. Interior is already shot, who cares!
Fix it up slowly, or not at all.
I am literally on an airplane waiting to take off from Detroit to Moline, where I will be for the rest of the week. Unfortunately, making the drive of a lifetime back to NC is not in the cards…
Just goes to show that there are cars available that would be fun to drive around in, and take to “cars and coffee” and be part of the hobby without the resources of a Jay Leno.
ad is still up.
Finally down. Anyone here buy it?
