It’s been a while since I shared another find from the large Georgia collection we’ve been marketing, so here’s the latest: a 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, in surprisingly rust-free shape. I’ve been keeping this one to the side, as we had a previous buyer express interest in it. He’s given us the all-clear that his current project will keep him busy, so the Grand Wagoneer is up for grabs. This vintage SUV is located near Blue Ridge, Georgia.
What Makes It Special? The laser-straight body and no rust in the rockers or undercarriage. So many of these were well-used (as God intended), but this resulted in the bodies often looking like they had been stored in a snowbank for decades. The Grand Wagoneer is also a final year model, and has those little details – like the woodgrain pressed into the roof rack – that you just don’t see anymore.
Body Condition: This is really the Grand Wagoneer’s greatest selling point. In fact, I believe with a proper detailing, the paint would bounce back nicely. If you’re an absolute perfectionist, there may be some fading you’ll notice on the wood paneling, but I think most potential buyers would be thrilled to find it in this sort of condition.
Mechanical Condition: This is the one downside to the truck: the engine is locked up. That’s not to say it can’t be un-stuck, but we’re not selling it as a runner. The owner does have plenty of spare engines (and two parts trucks) on the property that he’d be willing to work into a deal for the Grand Wagoneer. As such, it will need to be trailered home, but it does roll and steer.
The Grand Wagoneer is already a modern classic, and good examples command $10K or more. This Grand Wagoneer offers a great opportunity to drop in a replacement engine (or tinker with the existing mill to see if you can free it up), detail the interior and exterior (a headliner will be needed), and then simply enjoy – or flip! The truck is located in Blue Ridge, GA, approximately 1.5 hours north of Atlanta. And remember to check out the other vehicles in the collection:

3500 lol 😂
This Jeep ain’t climbing any hills or mountain of cash soon in this decade 😀
Good luck in sale…
The only good thing these had going for them was Quadra track, it gave full 4 wheel drive capability it was a very capable option but then when used it became worthless because the enemic 360 Mopar of the times didn’t generate enough HP to even spin all 4 tires IN SNOW, great idea that fell short because of the short comings in other drive components.
The once Grand interior and exterior could clean up to bring out its luxurious lustre, but for $3500 those additional motors better be thrown in the back for the new owner. Oh, and you’ll have to pop into your local AMC dealer for one front rubber over-rider.
