This extremely clean 1994 Ford Bronco U100 is up for auction with only 77,000 original miles! Located in Washington, you can’t go wrong with adding this horse to your stable of drivers. Under the hood, the vaunted 5.8 liter V8 is tied to an automatic transmission. Bidding currently sits at around $9k for this cherry rig.
This example stands out among the fifth generation of Broncos and, frankly, just about any 1994 model automobile still on the road. With its distinct boxy Bronco styling, the fifth-generation Bronco is the most buttoned-up example of Ford’s iconic 4×4. This truck is rugged and smart-looking, like cowboy boots with a sports coat. It will do all the hard labor on the ranch or look great going out on the town.
Under the hood, you’ll find the iconic 5.8-liter engine that gallops along with 210 horsepower. With only 77,000 miles, this motor is just breaking in! Open the sunroof, pop in your favorite George Straight cassette, and hit the trail as the seller says this truck is mechanically sound. The only issue stated is the AC needs repair. The seller describes this as an Eddie Bauer model, but I do not see the badges nor the two-tone paint scheme that would make this an Eddie Bauer edition. The experts can battle that out in the comments if I am wrong. The interior of this Bronco appears to be in near flawless original condition, including the cassette player mentioned previously. There are no tears or wear marks on the seats, and there seem to be no stains or wear marks on the carpet. I am not a fan of what appear to be vintage American Racing wheels, but they definitely go with the ’90s vibe of this truck.
Original examples like this Bronco that have lived an easy life are becoming harder and harder to come by. If you win the auction for this Bronco, what are going to do with this truck? Will it be your Sunday cream puff driver, or will you drive it daily? As the Broncos become more and more valuable, it may not be easy to drive this to the grocery store or the mall. This truck has lived a charmed life. Its previous owners were amazing caretakers of this Bronco, and now it is ready for its next owner. You can bid on this truck here on eBay. Special thanks to Billy Bats for sending this tip!
Nice. I’d daily drive it. I believe these early 90’s and up to mid 2000’s cars were the epitome of reliability. Sure, they had some electronic sensors that older stuff didn’t have and they don’t have the fuel mileage or horsepower of the more modern stuff, but I’d be willing to bet this would be more reliable long term and be more usable than the Broncos that came before or after it.
77k and the motor is just breaking in,Come on!
Nice 5th Gen Bronc’. These had the initial electronic improvements fuel-wise without all the current day headaches. These Bronc’s were simple enough for the average guy to repair and modify safely. Some of the aftermarket gingerbread is getting hard to find these days, but repro panels are easier to find than they were 20 years ago.The 5.8L engine will pull all day and then some. I bought one of these 5th Gens’ ten years ago in 2014 with 77K and it’s still running strong at 130K today. Better yet, I also bought a 1990 4th Gen, in 1991, and underneath the hood and the body, they’re all the same, predominantly. These Bronc’s were a great vehicle. Unfortunately, they were replaced by the Exped’ because Ford’s research determined that people wanted a four-door SUV wagon. Go figure…..
Great for a Myers sno-plow up front too. You can beef up these front ends w factory parts.
Love these trucks, so roomy and comfortable inside as well.
Eddie Bauer models only had mocha interior. Still a very nice ride.
Correct – and this one definitely isn’t an Eddie Bauer model, despite what the seller claims.
Might easily have been a case of choosing from the drop-down table in ebay and they either didn’t have just an XLT option or ….. he just clicked on the wrong one. Those EB packages were a little gaudy for me anyway. Although I did scrounge up a pair of EB front seats at a local P&P for an old beater Bronco II that i picked up as a cabin vehicle years ago…ha! All that tweed and EB embroidery in that B2 that always looked like i was driving to drop it off at the same Pick n Pull!! Comfy though…..
McFarland ‘s right, here’s the interior color code’s for 5th Gen’s :

The dash has a XLT name plate (right side)
Seller here. This truck is not an Eddie Bauer and was just used for search tags. This bronco is an xlt. Thanks
*slurp*
Barring something catastrophic if you have even a most basic “oh chit kit” this will never leave you broke down. A spare coil, Duraspark box and some hand tools and you’re golden.
You can leave the Duraspark box at home – those went away on these trucks in the mid ’80s when EFI came along. Carry a TFI module instead :).
