Few SUVs command the same respect and long-term following as the Toyota Land Cruiser, and the 80 Series (produced from 1990 to 1997) has become one of the most beloved for its durability, capability, and classic styling. This 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser, now up for auction here on eBay with no reserve, shows just 156,400 miles and remains a clean, largely original example of one of Toyota’s most iconic trucks.

Finished in white over a tan interior, this Land Cruiser presents very nicely for its age. The body retains a glossy finish with only minor blemishes noted by the seller, such as a touched-up scuff on the rear bumper and small clearcoat issues near the driver’s tail light and passenger door. Importantly, the Carfax is clean with no reported accidents, and both paint and trim appear consistent with careful long-term ownership.

Under the hood lies Toyota’s dependable 4.5L inline-six (often referred to as the 1FZ-FE in Land Cruiser circles), paired with a smooth-shifting automatic transmission and a full-time 4×4 system with a manual lever transfer case. The seller reports that the engine runs quietly, with no smoke, ticks, or oil consumption, and the transmission shifts seamlessly through all gears. Toyota Land Cruisers are renowned for their ability to surpass 300,000 miles with proper maintenance, making this lower-mileage example particularly desirable.

Inside, the tan cabin is in excellent shape for a 30-year-old SUV. The dash is crack-free, the controls and switchgear retain their original markings, and all major accessories—including the air conditioning, power windows, locks, and sunroof—are reported to function. The seller notes a large tear on the passenger seat and a small worn corner on the driver’s seat, but the second and third rows are in excellent condition. Carpets, headliner, and panels show only light age-appropriate wear.

Mechanically, this Land Cruiser has benefited from consistent care. Recent work includes a rebuilt carburetor and servicing of the braking system. The seller describes the steering and suspension as smooth, with the 4×4 system engaging properly. Tires remain at about 85% tread, and the original alloy wheels present well. The frame and undercarriage are reported as solid, with only minor surface rust typical for a 1995 Connecticut-based vehicle, but no holes or structural issues.

Offered with a clean title, this Land Cruiser represents a rare chance to acquire an original, rust-free, low-mileage example at no reserve. These trucks have become modern classics, prized not only for their durability and off-road prowess but also for their collectible status as demand for high-quality 80 Series models continues to climb.

Would you keep this Land Cruiser preserved as a survivor, or outfit it for the adventure-ready overland build so many enthusiasts dream of?

model line thru the yrs seeks premium price round here. Unfortunately never put to use as more thana soccer-mom car, they waste away in our salty NE landscape.

Like the the WDX and other power wagons they live at 1/2 capacity or parade duty, such a sad state of affairs. Statements about the past, a kind of ghost, not alive or dead. Glad the examples live on to be seen even tho as simple characters on the stage, no longer center stage main players. Bring on the EVs (usa can lead for increase to our nation’s health).
