Ready to Run! Un-Cut 1969 Ford Bronco

This Boxwood Green Bronco from 1969 has been updated in all the right spots and is ready to take you on some adventures. It can be found here on eBay with a current bid of $20,100. Currently located in Tallahassee, Florida, it has a new suspension lift with aggressive tires. Perfect to take you to the beach or that secluded fishing hole! Have a look for yourself.

The engine is the original 302 cubic inch V8. As you can tell, there have been some things replaced recently including the power brake master cylinder, power steering pump, fan pulley, and fan belt. The seller says the engine and 3-on-the-tree manual transmission both work well. If this was my truck, I’d probably replace the radiator. It looks original to the truck and a nice aluminum replacement is inexpensive and easy to install.

Here is a good shot of some of the work that has been done to the underside. The Dana 44 up front has been rebuilt. The brakes have been upgraded to discs at all four corners, with new brake lines. The suspension lift is 2.5 inches, which is fine for first-gen Broncos. The mild suspension lift doesn’t make it too top-heavy and allows for larger tires with the un-cut rear fenders. Speaking of tires, they are 31×10.50’s, which is a great size for this rig. The ad says “the fenders have been bent out some to accommodate the tires…,” but you can’t really tell from the photos.

The interior is fairly stock except a few things have been done to freshen it up. The seats have been professionally recovered. The windshield is new along with new rubber seals on all the other glass as well. The seller says lights and “most” gauges work with the speedometer jumping around a bit.

Overall, this looks like a nice old Bronco that will get you where you want to go. The new owner could continue to freshen it up as it is driven. Hopefully, it will find a good home where it can serve a new family for years to come. What do you think?

For the buy it now of 30K for this rig, I would buy a couple cool older rigs. These are cool, I just do not understand the value.

Demand, they are going thru these full cousin and selling for $250g’s ! I almost bought one the last year they built them. I’m sure I wouldn’t own it now but wish I would have back then. Mud running was the big thing and I had better use for a pickup

Always liked these, I had a 68 that was a lot of fun but unfortunately was on the downside with rot.
I would love to take one and upgrade it with a built 302 and pdb and ps as well as power windows ,a/c, sound deadener material, all leather and a fold down seat setup in back.

thinkin its not a ’69 (desriable 1st yr) as stuff aint there that should B, & shouldn’t B there that is, but who cares (just an issue of knowledge &/or trust), it’s all swappable (inc the VIN tag).Even w/some maintainence items & lill TX rust I’da started at 1/2 that price, finish at 12 or 15K$…who knows tho…

Dang chrlsful, I felt like I was back in school trying to understand a math word problem after reading your post, lol. These prices for old bronco makes no sense, back in the day they were no more valuable than scouts, cj jeeps or land cruises, they were just 4x4s. They were cheap 700$ to 1500$ would get you a decent example. As for this Bronco you wont take this too far off road with out cutting the fenders or changing to smaller tires, no clearance.

Nice Bronco, but if the owner “bent the fenders out a little” I would wonder what else was “made to fit”. Red flag for me, sounds like the bigger tires may have bent the fenders while off roading. Check the inner fenders for rubber burns. Good luck to the new owner!

Yep, Bronco’s and Scouts, them there were the good old days. Looked similar from the outside. Handled about the same. A feller could mount up on one a these here rigs and go where there were no roads. Course’ nowadays on these 40k plus rigs you would not dare drive off road In fear of getting the beast dirty or God forbid get a scratch in yer perty paint job.
    God bless America
