In 1959, Plymouth introduced the Sport Fury and produced only 3,858 units by 1964, making it rare compared to other muscle cars of the time. Pontiac produced 32,450 GTOs, Chevy produced a whopping 149,00 Chevelle Malibus, and Ford produced 591,531 Galaxie 500s that year. The Sport Fury had unique styling and distinctive trim, setting it apart from GM and Ford entries in the segment. This excellent example is ready to drive and available here on Facebook Marketplace for $25,000. It is located in Scranton, Arkansas, and the seller is looking for serious offers only and a possible trade for a Mopar Drag Car. Thanks so much to Terry for the tip.
The Sport Fury here has a 383 cubic inch engine. The original Commander 383 engine produced 330 horsepower and 425 ft-lbs of torque. The owner claims it drives really well and would be ready to drive to your nearest car show
The glass is in good shape, and the car has front disc brakes and rear drums. There are Torq Thrust wheels mounted with Cooper Cobra radials all around. The tan interior looks to be in excellent condition front and rear. The Torq-Flite transmission is shifted through a floor shifter with a factory console. The body appears rust-free, and the paint looks near-perfect.
The average price nowadays for a 1964 Sport Fury in good condition is in the $35,000 range. This becomes a great deal if you are looking for a car that you can jump in and drive right away. Are you ready to Get up and Go Plymouth?

Listing shows as no longer available. Good looking car, it would not be surprising if it has a new home.
