Rebel Randall’s Coca Cola Wagon!

1959 Ford Country Sedan

This is short notice, but Art M just emailed us about an estate auction that’s happening today in Victorville, California. The items come from the estate of Rebel Randall – who was a famous movie star during in the forties and fifties. Besides dozens of movies, she also appeared in many Coca Cola commercials. This 1959 Ford Country Sedan is claimed to have been in used in some of those ads. No proof is given, but it would be fun to try to track down the ads. Anyone? There are some other interesting lots that may worth a look too. You can bid online here on Proxibid, but the auction ends in a few hours. Thanks for the tip Art!

Wow, there is a Chev Cameo Fleetside there with current bid of only $300! Nice find.

A cousin of mine bought one of these for $100 in the late 60’s. It was worn out and rusty. We used it for fishing and hunting trips. The paint would flake off at highway speeds. The vacuum wipers needed help climbing hills, so one of us would ride with the window open to push the wipers back across the wrap around windshield. We had a lot of fun in that car. This one is much nicer.

I’ve never seen vacuum wipers climb hills. LOL.
