Seller’s Success Story: Unfinished Dream

Back in October we featured this 1970 Porsche 914-6, which the owner’s widow Andrea was trying to sell. With the help of some dedicated Porsche Enthusiasts, she finally found a buyer for Tyler’s project. The photo above is of Andrea, on the right, and the new owner’s wife, on the left. It sounds like this Porsche is going to a good home and will hopefully be back on the road soon.

Here is the message we received from Andrea, “I learned a lot from the comments on Barnfinds and was able to get in touch with a few experts. Learned about TheSamba site and 914World. Also had tons of help from local Porsche guy, Jeff H who almost bought the car in 1979. THANK YOU!!”

We just want to thank Andrea for sharing Tyler’s car with us and for keeping us updated. We also want to thank Jeff H and everyone else that helped Andrea out and we wish the new owner the best!

Sure hope it all works out. Too bad the original owner wasn’t able to finish and enjoy it for a spell. But that’s something that’s often beyond our control.
