We rarely use the word “stunning” when describing C4-era Corvettes, but this 1990 convertible sporting sharp Turquoise Metallic paint with a matching hardtop and over camel leather makes for a stunning combination. While it’s more or less a driver, this Corvette marks one of the rare opportunities where you can pay a modest sum for a very unique car. Find this Chevrolet Corvette convertible listed here on eBay with just 48,000 original miles and a few minor issues for only $11,000.

In other enthusiast car segments, if you were to identify a model produced in a special color with a matching hardtop, you would likely be paying a significant premium to own said vehicle. In Porsche and BMW land, those colors, sometimes referred to as “Individual” or “Paint to Sample”, cost ridiculous amounts of money if shown on the right model, like an M3 or a 911. However, you can buy a Corvette in a limited-production shade for a pittance. While it may not have been a special order, this is certainly a color you don’t see every day – especially with the matching hardtop.

It gets even better inside the car. You were expecting a black leather interior, weren’t you? Not so fast: this one was ordered with a very pretty camel-colored interior, which looks incredible with the teal paint job. It also helps that the interior is in excellent condition for a driver-quality car. If it were a manual transmission example, the price would likely be significantly higher, so be sure to thank the slushbox for the discount. The seller reports that the airbag light is stuck on, which is typical of these early 90s vehicles.

Under the hood is the reliable and powerful L98 V8. The engine bay is clean and unmodified. The seller doesn’t say much about the running condition other than noting the brakes are a bit crusty from sitting. In 1990, the Corvette made a respectable 250 hp and 345 lb-ft of torque, more than enough to get down the road with authority. The radio works, the A/C is cold, and it looks absolutely magnificent with this paint scheme and the matching hardtop. What’s not to like?

What an awful color for a Corvette!… or really any car.
