Listed here on Detroits craigslist is a partially restored 1950 Jeepster for $5,500. This car was barn stored for over 30 years. The owner started the re-building process but due to family health reasons he no longer has the time to finish it. This project is well under way, so it deserves to get finished.

The body, including the front window frame, was completely refurbished without any non-metal fillers.  The frame is said to be solid and the body only needs the final sanding.  The trim parts are included and can either be cleaned up or refurbished, there are no images of these.

The interior is original and needs new upholstery, no images again.  As you can see there has been metal welded in the floor boards areas where the “worms” were.  This unit comes with two engines – a 6 cylinder Studebaker coupled to a ’55 Plymouth rear-end and the correct, but not mentioned if original, Jeepster motor.  The car will run and drive but needs carburetor, brake, suspension and steering work to be completed.  Included in this package are an extra hood, grill, bumpers, and all the side curtains.  Winter project for you?
