1969 Dodge Charger R/T: Field of Dreams

chargerfield

This post is less about the car in question (a very needy 1969 Charger R/T found here on eBay with no reserve) and more about the field of cars parked behind it! Located in Spring Hill, Florida, the seller of this Charger notes that he is cleaning house and getting rid of his projects, with more interest in cash money than collecting. He’s already sold one Charger (and apparently had lots of unhappy bidders express their disappointment that they missed out on it) and also has a Mustang Mach I for sale, in addition to the ’69 Charger seen here. What else can you see in the field behind the Charger? The obvious ones are the Corvette and the Mustang, but let’s see who can spot all the other finds by listing your guesses below.

Next to the Vette looks like a Barracuda. Other side of the Vette looks like a GTO

The problem you have about cars here in Florida, is the rust. I live 30 miles south of Kennedy space center and anything that has been outside for more than a year will be coated in it. Salt water and warm air just love metal.

I think I see 2 GTOs one a ’66-’67 and the other a ’64-’65. Also a Buick GS, and now I forgot what else I saw…getting old, it ain’t for sissies!

‘Patina’ lovers rejoice, here is the wholey grail.

  5. BenW455

    I see 3 GTOs

His decoder info says it’s a blue car, but the majority of the car seems to have been a light green color. Wonder what happened to the taillight panel?

If only the cars could talk!

Is the second car from left (between 2 GTOs???) in above photo a second 71-73 Mustang? Hard to say. Vette looks to be a late 70s or early 80s

Left to right: GTO of some sort, another Mach 1, early to mid 60s fairlane, Late 70s early 80s civic, Mach 1, cuda, Bette, and then another GTO.

    Yes I see 3 GTOs 1 – 66/67 and 2- 69 or 70 , 1 early 70’s Cuda , 1 71 to 73 Mach1 then the Vette. and the one in the very back I have no idea.

A lot more on PB than shown in the photo, the far right one looks like a 1970 GTO but he doesn’t have one listed. Two 70 and two 73 Mach 1s shown, 64, 66, 67 and 69 GTOs, 65 LeMans, 67 Firebird, 68 Firebird conv, and 68 Camaro, as well as more. Wholey grail, love it!
