A strong contender for Barn Finds Best Photo of 2026 (there should be such a thing), this 1992 Dodge Power Ram W250 4×4 Diesel 5-Speed is parked in front of beautiful Mount McLoughlin, about an hour from Central Point, Oregon, where this equally beautiful truck is located. The seller has it listed here on eBay with an asking price of $48,000, or you can make an offer. Thanks to Barney for the tip!

Tough. Truck. A Club Cab would be nice for extra storage space inside, but somehow the earth seemed to churn alright back when there wasn’t such a thing. Single-cab pickups somehow worked fine for decades. Although, as I type this into a magic box, it reminds me that at one time there wasn’t an internet, or a Barn Finds. It’s funny how things evolve. Speaking of evolving, Mount McLaughlin in Oregon is a dormant volcano, as a lot of mountains are. It’s in southern Oregon’s Cascade Range, and if you ever needed a scenic place to spend a few days or a few years to get away from it all, this is a good choice.

Last erupted around 20,000 years ago, snowcapped Mount McLaughlin is a great background for this Bright White over Sabre Gray single-cab long-bed truck. I would love to hear the sound of this truck starting with that turbodiesel engine. I can imagine it gives a nice, muffled eruption sound itself. Disclaimer: The seller says this paint was starting to peel when they got it a year ago from the original owner, so it was stripped to bare metal and repainted. This was at the end of Dodge’s D/W-series of trucks, which had been around since the early 1970s, before the “big rig” redesign came along. This truck is said to have around 104,000 miles, and even the underside looks amazing.

About the asking price, Hagerty is at $49,700 for a #2 excellent condition example – although that’s a club cab. They don’t list a single cab value. I think the “or offer” part of the listing will come into play here; that’s a lot of money for a 34-year-old truck, no matter how nice it is or is configured. The Charcoal interior looks great, and it looks like the dash pad is there to protect a perfect dash, according to the many photos in the listing. Please click on the eBay link and check them out; there are 100 photos showing every square inch of this jewel. The shift levers are great to see; most of us would want a manual in a pickup, let alone a diesel pickup.

The engine is a B-Series Cummins 5.9-liter CIB (cam in block) inline-six fuel-injected turbodiesel with just 160 horsepower, but has 400 lb-ft of torque. Backed by the NP 205 transfer case and what I believe is a Getrag G360 5-speed manual sending power to all four wheels as needed, the seller says it starts, idles, and runs as it should, and there are no leaks or rattles. A BD exhaust brake was added, otherwise it’s said to be stock. How much would you pay for this Dodge 4×4 diesel?

Meh, Scotty knows I have better views out my back door, seen one vista, seen them all. Nice truck, pert near choked on my probiotic gummie, jeez Louise, wasamatter them? Don’t get me wrong, for an actual pickup, and not a car with a box, this is the epitome of almost 100 years of Dodge trucks, bbbbbut $50 GRAND? Come on, man, what’s a new RAM with all the gee-gaws? I see what looks like a 2 speed axle on the shift lever, but no indication on the rear axle itself as such, so must be the engine brake, which is cool AND functional as heck. I don’t think I ever saw one of these with that. I know, most here really will like this truck, and perhaps mishuga enough to at least throw an offer, be the last darned truck you’ll ever need to buy. Now, as for future generations, what, gramps, no info screen? How will we know what’s what? An engine brake,,,what the heck is that? Nice truck!
New Rams with gee gaws 80k some more
Auto spell sucks, gee gaws as Howard said..
Wow. For any truck to look this good. Original, or restored is an accomplishment. That background is amazing with the snow capped mountains too. If only more people picked out nice places to photograph their ride they’re selling. Granted, not everyone has access to beautiful spots like this, but still…….
Nice truck, my sons buddy had a Dodge with a Cummins and a stick and I saw the red button and asked about the two speed rear and found out about the “Jake” brake. I’m going to have to agree with Howard on the price here though. I’m not arguing that it’s worth that much, but its just so much money for a 34 year old pickup. I wouldn’t change a thing, love the stock rims and hub caps too. Its a nice find Barney!! And Scotty, great write up too and thank you for pointing out that beautiful spot too.
Real nice 5sp Ram. Loved the front end on these ones 🐏
Beautiful truck, ridiculous price
