Was 1994 really 32 years ago already? This 1994 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado Z71 Extended Cab 4×4 pickup looks like it’s two years old, not 32 years old. I love seeing how some owners take care of their vehicles like this. They have this truck posted here on craigslist in (the Village of) Pinehurst, North Carolina, and they’re asking $17,900. Nice job on the photos, seller! It felt great to say that for a change. Also, what a great-looking truck. Whether you’re a Ford, Dodge, or Chevy person, as far as American trucks go (or Cybertruck, Rivian, Slate, etc.), some of us like them all, no matter the make or all-important badge is on the grille. Just so they’re nice, this top-level Fleetside 1/2-ton extended cab 4×4 Silverado is nice enough to almost interest a casual Ford or Dodge fan, if there is such a thing. Here is a PDF owner’s manual, just for the heck of it.
Here’s what it looks like inside the bed, with the bedliner material looking as clean as the rest of the truck. The fourth-generation Chevy C/K-series pickups were offered here for model years 1988 through 2000 in regular pickup form. A one-ton chassis cab model continued until 2006. This has to be one of the most desirable configurations, being a 4WD (K-series), extended cab, Fleetside bed as opposed to what Chevy referred to as a Sportside rather than Stepside in this era, the top-trim Silverado, and the Z71 package that offered some subtle off-road suspension tweaks. I’m assuming this beautiful truck has never been off of a paved or gravel road; it looks too nice.
A red interior; it doesn’t get any better than that in my world. The seller says this truck has 90,000 miles, and I would have guessed much less than that. They say it has led a pampered and garage-kept life, and that sure shows in the photos. As expected, the Silverado gives a lot of luxury for the buck, and it looks almost like new inside, including peeking into the extended cab area. I couldn’t find a 1994 Chevrolet pickup brochure, but here’s a 1993 brochure and a 1995 brochure. They likely aren’t too useful as this truck is right between those years.
The engine is Chevrolet’s… uhhh… The seller says V8 but doesn’t give any numbers, and three were available: a 305, 350, and 454. Many of you will be able to pick it out by its appearance, but I’m far from a mid-90s Chevy V8 expert, which goes without saying. It should be backed by a two-speed transfer case and a four-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels as needed. They say it’s in excellent mechanical condition, everything works (including the AC), and it has a “new cat back Summit performance exhaust.” Any thoughts on this great-looking K1500 Silverado?
These are very nice trucks. This one looks like it has about 80,000 miles less than what they’re claiming. Really clean. I want it!!! I enjoyed those brochures too Scotty thank you. I just hope this goes to a nice garage kept new home as well. They’re only this clean and original once.
a 32 year old truck with 80,000 miles is not worth 17K dollars. More like half of that.
