The 1995 Chevy Corvette was produced with the pressure of all the success of previous Corvettes on its shoulders. The car’s styling and driveability performed well under the pressure. Corvettes have always been one of America’s favorite sports cars, and the ’95 held up to the test. The example at hand is said to have just 7,300 miles and is listed for sale here on Craigslist in Mentor, Ohio, for $29,500.Thanks to T.J. for the tip!
The exterior is finished in factory Bright Aqua paint. The photos of the exterior are dimly lit, so it’s hard to decide what state the paint is in confidently. The seller makes no notes of damage and describes the car as “mint,” so we can only assume there is no significant damage. The car is said to have never been driven in the rain and wears factory alloy wheels. The soft top appears to be in excellent condition. This color is especially ’90s and very eye-catching; the car will undoubtedly turn heads.
There are no interior photos in the ad. The digital odometer proves the car’s low mileage. The car is said to be equipped with light beige leather. It is equipped with fog lights, heated door mirrors, air conditioning, and a keyless entry.
A 5.7L V8 engine sends 300 horsepower to the wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine bay presents well and doesn’t appear to have any damage or decay. This is an excellent car for someone looking for a very low-mile example. It’s rare to find cars from this era with so few miles, which might explain the car’s price tag. This car has a ton of life and likely needs no work to be road or show-ready. If you want a new Corvette to add to your collection, contact the seller about this 1995 Chevrolet Corvette convertible on craigslist before the car sells.
Crappy pictures of what might be a nice car.
Got to agree with that!
This gen presents a great bargain for those looking to enter the Corvette club. It will be difficult to get that price even with the extremely low miles unless it’s a ZR-1. The lack of decent pictures does it no favors either. Saw one very similar to this, mileage not as low however it was spotless and brought only $8.5K at Mecum KC. I’ve never owned this gen, always like the ruby red 40th anniversary cars from ‘93 but hate the cheap looking dash and interior.
$29,500 is at the upper, upper end for a 300hp LT-1, automatic transmission 1995 convertible. It does appear to be in nice shape and the low mileage is a plus. Having said that, $29,500 will also put you in a 1996 330hp LT-4, ZF-6 speed Corvette convertible Collector Edition albeit with higher mileage. An 18,000 mile Collector Edition convertible LT-4, 6-speed sold for $27,000 in December. “Caveat Emptor” translated means “Take your time when buying a Corvette. They are like buses, another one will show up in fifteen minutes”
I own a 1992 base coupe corvette LT1 ZF6 with only 22k miles. Great car operates flawlessly, manual trans makes all the difference over the autos.
That price is higher than a giraffe’s butt, and so is the seller for thinking he can get that.
