After featuring the optimistically priced roadside BMW, I was reminded of a Citroen that is parked along the highway at a perpetual flea market in Montana. I have thought about stopping many times, but always seem to miss the exit. I have tried calling the phone number listed on the sign, but it has been disconnected. So, if you know anything about it, please let us know.

That car looks as lonely as this post….. *crickets*
Little frog in a big pond.
Yeah, it was a long shot, but I thought it might save me a trip.
Hard to tell from the distant shot, but that front wheel looks like an early single bolt one, meaning a pre-’66 car if my eyes don’t deceive me….
Hi Ken,
It is difficullt to tell from that distance as you said, the central nut wheels had either small wheel hubs ( ID19) or larger ones which protruded. (DS19)
Another indication is the door handles, which look rather small and flat indicating a past 1971 model. Montana is too far away from France for me to have a look by myself. I do regret….
What town is it by? I have relatives that live in Montana. If it is close to one of them I could ask them if they would look into it.
I just got a note from Jesse saying the flea market is outside Billings, Mt. but the note didn’t post, of if any one is interested in tracking it down, time to circumnavigate Billings….
I found it! It’s at a business called Big Sky Flea Market. The address is 2221 Old Hardin Rd, Billings.
Enter the address on Google maps (maps.google.com) and you’ll get close. Go to street-view and proceed NE up the road and you’ll come across the yard. A bunch of interesting stuff there, including a ‘50s Plymouth, a 1960 El Camino and an MGB or Midget.
The picture here on BF looks like it was taken from the freeway (I-90), but the street view shows the Cit from the other side.
When viewing from the freeway side, you can see a blue ’60s Chrysler convertible (with the top down) in the corner, a ’66 Mustang coupe along the north fence and the red and white ’62(?) Falcon convertible . Further down the other way is a Porsche 924 and a pair of Karmann Ghias.
