Changes were afoot for America’s Sports Car, the Chevy Corvette, in 1973. Corvette production continued at GM’s St. Louis, Missouri, plant where 25,500 were coupes like this car (83% of assemblies in 1973). Three engine choices were on the books, starting with the L48 350 cubic inch V8. The tweaked L82 350 was also offered, along with the LS4 454 big block. The seller doesn’t mention which one is in this ‘Vette, but it’s likely one of the 350s, paired with an automatic transmission.
The seller purchased this Corvette with the intent to keep it. But after installing $8,000 worth of new parts and pieces, he/she has the opportunity to acquire another vehicle from a family member.
