After owning a MGB for a while now, I’ve thought about getting a MGA to keep it company. They are great looking cars, but great looking cars also tend to be expensive. At least nice ones that is. Here’s a seeming bargain for a project A. The sale includes a title, but not much else. If you look at the other side of the car, you’ll see the reason for the severe price cut… The seller suggests that it would still make a good project, but I’m not so sure. They also mention that they can sell you the rest of the parts to finish the job. I’m going to pass on this project, but perhaps one of you can find a use for it? Take a look here on eBay where bidding starts at $300 with the option to Buy It Now for $865.

Does this really count as a project ? maybe as an art installation
Wow. Have mgas really climbed that much? I passed up much better ones than this for less just a few years ago. Never been a fan of the mga. They just never looked right.
Artfully arranged photos to hide the fact that the rear axle is missing, along with most of the rest of the car.
The seller says: “What is left makes for a good start for someone who has a solid donor or wanting to use new metal throughout most of the car.”
Translation: add a “solid donor” or “new metal throughout most of the car” and then you’ll have something, since what I’m selling here doesn’t amount to much of anything.
Sounds to me like whoever buys this is getting a tag a few pieces of paper and very little else but some scrap parts.
