Original California 1969 Ford Bronco

First-generation Ford Broncos have always been popular but when Ford reintroduced them in 2020, they have seen even more popularity. When you find one in solid, original condition like this 1969 model, they can command a premium price. This one can be found here on eBay with a current bid of nearly $38,000. Located in Walnut Creek, California, the seller says it has resided in California since new! You won’t believe what the undercarriage looks like, take a look.

As you can tell from the condition of the cargo area, this Bronco has certainly been used, but not abused. There is no second seat, so the new owner will need to source one if you want to haul more than one passenger. The seller says the dash has some cracks, which isn’t a surprise. There are a ton of aftermarket sources for parts, so the new owner could certainly address any issues they want to.

The engine is a 302, which is a nice option. As you can see, it still features manual brakes and steering, but those could be upgraded as well.

The undercarriage photos are truly amazing. A majority of Broncos this old will at least show some rust or rot. This one looks very clean and nearly rust-free. The seller has replaced the springs and some other components, but overall, it is original.

Besides the lack of rust, another thing that sets this one apart from other first-gen Broncos is the un-cut quarter panels. Overall, this appears to be an awesome, original Bronco which is why the bidding is so strong. How high do you think it will go?

Cool truck and I’d get her road worthy and leave the patina, but these old Bronco’s prices are outta control imo.But if somebody is willing to pay the sellers price nothin wrong with that.See a lot of these on this site lately like every day.

The undercarriage on this one looks great! I’d have to put buckets in it but otherwise just fix a few things and drive it!

I may like this one over all the others shown on this site (certainly beddah den da last 1 U reviewed Mr. Danforth). Thnx for showin it, the write up.
Y? color, 1st 3, 4 yrs, options and condition (good but still affordable). I would have been V E R Y happy to find this when restoring them (’82 – ’92). The ‘ranch hands’ on pass side, under body’n chassy condition, bent8, hood/windshield clip, bench were all things I’d often have to acquire else where. Altho just a trinket still like the ranch hands for the 1 I drive daily (DO have the remote adjust rear view).
