Pair of Volvo 1800ES for $5,500

Volvo-1800ES-pair

Volvo has been known for their wagons since they came out with the Duett, but the best looking of these Swedish haulers has to be the 1800ES. The sleek lines and unique hatch have even provided inspiration for more recent models. Clean examples can be pricy though, so this package deal sounds like a bargain at $5,500. They both are drivers, but obviously need some work. Find them here on craigslist out of Portland, Oregon.

There’s some scary looking seat coverings and wiring there, but if the ‘minor rust’ is truly minor, these are a bargain for the P1800 fan, and I’m guessing that they won’t last long in the Portland area. These ES models, especially, are on the upswing. Buy both, keep the best one, sell the other.

I work right close to these. The shop owner is selling these for a customer. The shop specializes in BMW 2002’s. Very nice guy, honest, will give you the real scoop if you call. I own an 1800ES, and figured these were a real good deal, but thought they were already sold…been on CL for a number of weeks. (I resisted stopping to look myself, for fear I would buy them! Way too many projects going right now…)
