Rebuilt 1966 Ford Bronco U13 Roadster

If 56 bidders and a current bid price of $17,101 doesn’t exemplify how popular a 1966 Ford Bronco U13 Roadster is right now, then I don’t know what will. The seller seems to know that as well because the reserve price is not yet met. If you do bid and win this Bronco, you’ll be heading to Jackson, Mississippi to pick it up. You can view more on the eBay listing.

Part of the bid price is the fact that the seller has gone through and rebuilt the 6 cylinder engine. They have put new internals, carburetor, brakes, and an exhaust on the truck. You can see in the photos that there was some time and effort put into it. That is connected to a manual transmission. The mileage is listed at 28,127, but since the engine has been rebuilt, that is likely to be only what the body has on it.

One thing that does stick out is the fact that the interior has been redone. According to the listing, it is has been recovered in the correct silver material that was original to the truck. Other work the seller has done is to install a new windshield and corresponding rubber and install two door opening inserts. Other than that, there is no word of any other non-original part.

The hood is rusted and has a dent due to a falling tree branch. It actually gives the truck some character. The seller has noted that there doesn’t seem to be bad rust elsewhere on the truck and includes photos of the footwells proving so. They also not the original hubcaps are still on the truck. Considering how popular these Broncos are, and for how much they go for, this might be a good chance to buy one.

Well, if you have an early Bronco it is obviously time to sell. I am waiting for the Willys truck and wagon market to take off.

well if you are looking for A Bronc to use as a driver this might be the one. That used a falcon Engine, and it has 3 on the tree. Wont be a ball of fire but would still be fun to drive. love the original paint. up to 18 large and reserve has been met. Sure is a lot of coin but the selling price will set the value. Nice rot free car. Be careful on the corners!! Good luck to the new owner!!

    Cheers

At least it looks like mechanical work done and repairs are minimal for asking price, this is a rare Bronco that would be nice to own!

Too much $$$ for a 6 banger. I had one identical to this same year but tan with white top. It would go anywhere you wanted until it rusted away. My 73 with the 351W was a much better Bronco.

Paint it red, white walls, full wheel covers, add a couple Twin Peaks bar gals…dress up like Hank Kimball the county agent and have fun!

I’d love the hell out of it! once had one in my possession that I was holding for a friend a couple years ago….under 5k original! THIS one seems to be missing the backing plates for the inserts

It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find a gen 1 Bronco in the southwest that isn’t cut!

Practically every guy that had one back then flared or cut the fenders and put those plastic fenders over the cut.

This is awesome for that reason alone!
