A Scaglietti Inspired Beauty!

With just 2 days to go, this rare fiberglass Devin from 1956 is up for grabs here on eBay now. With a newly race-built Triumph TR3 motor and needing only finishing touches, you’d better bid soon. The high bid on this one so far is $11,100. The only other one on eBay is offered at a whopping $95K.

To the seller’s credit, he shows a number of good photos of the car before its restoration. It looks like an awful lot of work has already been done. It’s time to go vintage racing, isn’t it?

The car was bought sight unseen and, according to the buyer, “it needed everything.”  This photo shows the new, powder-coated, tube frame.

This beauty’s as good looking from the rear as it is from the front. She’s got an Alderman Machine built race-ready engine, brakes rebuilt by White Post, Moss headers coated by Jet Hot, and a fuel cell by ATX. I think she looks just like a Ferrari Monza 750! I may just bid on this one myself!

Stunning car! Glad the seller saved it. Just checked. Auction ended because the car is no longer available. Someone made him an offer and acquired a great car.

Beautiful track day car. Imagine the looks you will get from the neighbors. I live 10 miles from Road Atlanta. My neighbors would complain about the noise and speed every weekend.

The Devin body was based on an Italian Ermini, not a Ferrari. It was made in several different lengths to accommodate different wheel based chassis.
