1978 may not be the most desirable year of Corvette, but this one deserves a mention because of what’s sitting behind it! Looks like the seller has a whole stash of Corvettes, or at least found someone else’s. They have this car and a 1984 Corvette listed for sale, but no mention is made of the other cars. The seller claims that this one runs and shifts, but will need lots of work to make road worthy. It’s located in and Lebanon, Pennsylvania and can be found here on eBay. The auction ends shortly, but it might be worth keeping an eye on this seller’s account to see what else pops up…

Is Pennsylvania in money trouble, seems a whole lot of the cars on ebay are from that state here lately. Either that or all the car hoarders are out east.

What year is this Vette? I have not seen another one like it.
It looks like someone took a mid-70’s Vette and replaced the front fiberglass with one from an early 80’s model.
Hey! That is my car that I customized in high school in 1980 ! It started out as a ’75 Vette that was owned by a nurse. It was involved in a front end accident and I bought it from the insurance company for $1,800.00. Not bad with only 23,000 miles. I installed the ’80 front and rear bumpers but kept the notchback. The people that were directing traffic at the Super Chevy meet at Green Valley Raceway, before The Dallas Motorplex, having recovered from their whiplash, thinking that it was a ’80-’82, stopped me at every juncture to talk about the car. It was featured on the cover of Super Chevy magazine in 1986 !
I sold it in 1989 to buy a house. The couple that I sold it to were from Little Rock, AR. I have not seen that car until now !
