The seller of this 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II Wagon has owned it for over twenty years. In fact, at one point they sold it to a friend and got it back again. They seem to be pretty honest with their assessment of the car and have a lot of details in the ad found here on Craigslist. The asking price is $18,500, which seems like a solid price for a solid classic wagon. The car is located in Fayetteville, Georgia, and was submitted to us by Pat L. Check out this nice wagon!
The seller says that the car gets a lot of attention at local car shows and cruise-ins, but “couldn’t compete at the big Mopar events.” In other words, the car is a nice driver, but not a full-blown show car. The interior is one of the nicest parts of the car. The seats have a little bit of wear and tear but overall, everything looks really clean.
With the seats folded down, there is a ton of cargo space. How about a nice place to crash after a day of surfing?
The engine is an unrestored 318 cubic inch V8 and sits in the bone stock engine bay. The seller says the engine starts the first time, every time, and doesn’t burn oil. The transmission shifts smoothly but has a small leak when it sits for a while.
Overall, this looks like a really nice car that anyone would be proud to own. Sure, it could be restored to perfect, but I’d probably drive it as-is. How about you?
A very sharp car. Maybe a bit spendy, but nice.
Wow.. cool wagon. If I had the room to keep in doors. It would be here. I would not restore it. Just take care of the rust and fix the AC replace the tires. It would be fun at the local car shows. Going the the ice cream store hanging out in the parking sit in the back on the tailgate. Great memories when I was young. Good luck to lucky next owner.🐻🇺🇸
Very nice. Always liked these a lot.
Whatever you think about the car and the price, you have to appreciate the ad! There are lots of pictures and a very complete description. If only other folks…
Very similar to the 67 Dodge Coronet wagon that my parents had. I remember practicing my driving skills in it with my mom as a passenger.
No ps/pb or ac. Black vinyl interior was brutal in the summer.
Id drive it as is, i have a house in Fl, and have always driven and owned old cars, trucks and waggys. I surf, windsurf and spearfish that salt water drip off has destroyed so many good ole rigs that i get depressed when i hash thru it. Im most distressed about a 68 WM300 PW, a 71 Bronco that was a dog w a small 6, but otherwise not rusted out, until it became my surftruck. And a fj55 that rotted away in months no matter how much i hosed it out. But 18k ill keep driving my rusted out 71 w200 to catch waves and fillet fish on tailgate.
You definitely don’t come across too many 60s Belvedere wagons, these days and especially one this clean condition. Hopefully she proves to start, run and stop. Someone is in for a treat if they get this one. Great find.
Correct – it is rare in this shape – looked at the photos and having had Mopar wagons in these years it does look to be an original low milage wagon in the rare 9 passenger version…like was said a little pricey but pretty dang original except the paint that was mentioned.
