Here we have seven cars for sale that appear to have nothing in common but locale. One is a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, a second is a 1967 Chevelle Malibu, and the rest are Opel GTs from the late 1960s and 1970s. The Chevies need work but run, while the Opels are probably a batch of parts cars. Located outside in Albuquerque, New Mexico, these projects can be had here on craigslist for prices that vary by automobile.
1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Chevrolet introduced the Monte Carlo as a Grand-Prix-based personal luxury car in 1970. It sold very well and became a Bow-Tie staple for many years to come. This first-year example has a running 350 cubic-inch V8 (2-barrel) whose numbers match. New parts include the fuel pump, carburetor, and a dual exhaust. The car is not rust-free, but has benefitted from its desert surroundings. It can be yours for $9,500 OBO.
1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu
The Chevelle was born as a mid-size car in 1964 and also was in the Chevy mix for years. The cars were restyled in 1966-67, and this ’67 example once had a 327 V8, but it has since been replaced by a 283. This car is also a runner, but the engine smokes. Unlike the Monte, the seller does not have a title for this one, so a bill of sale will be handed over for $15,500 OBO. This is not a Super Sport.

The Opel GT was imported from Germany and sold by Buick dealers in the U.S. from 1968 to 1973. It was a budget sports car that resembled a Chevy Corvette mini-me. We know nothing about these five small cars other than that you can have them all for $2,500. It may be a buy one, get five kind of transaction. Maybe you can make one good car from five, but that may be optimistic.
