Hopped Up 1956 Hillman Husky

1956 Hillman Husky

Other than the wheels, there really aren’t any signs that this isn’t the run of the mill car. Listed here on craigslist and parked in New Ulm, Minnesota, is this 1956 Hillman Husky listed for $3,500.  It appears this is a modified go-machine. There is no mention of if this is a running project or not, but there is a Buick 231 V6 up front to move you along.

The owner says he has over $5,000 invested in this project which doesn’t appear to be completed as of yet. There is a 350 transmission, a new radiator, master cylinder, and brake lines as per the owner.

There are bits of metal and parts in the back.

The owner only wants those that are interested to use a phone to contact. He doesn’t want any “picture collectors” to stop by and will not email any other images. This does look like an interesting project that will really move when completed. Fun stuff and a cool little ride.

Motor-on,
Robert

It was posted about a month ago. I guess the sellers attitude is keeping folks who might be interested from calling. Sure would be a kick butt street sleeper. BTW pictures are fair to middlin’ as far as pictures, would be nice to see some undercarriage shots, also.

HA! Now this is what I’m talkin’ about. I think I’d put some stock like looking wheels on it, although, it looks cool the way it is. Leave the body alone. No fire-breathing V-8, so a shred of economy, nice job.
