More Barn Finds from Georgia Getting Rescued!

As some of you likely know, I am helping to clear out a large collection of salvage and project vehicles from a private owner. You can read more about the collection here in Part I; here in Part II; Part III, readable here, and Part IV here. We also have a dedicated post on the trucks in the collection viewable here as well as the large stash of vintage motorcycles here. Fortunately, many of these classics have found new homes recently, including this Chevy five-window pickup that’s staying local to Georgia for restoration.

There’s several Datsun Z cars on the property, as documented here in this post. This was my favorite of the bunch, a black 260Z that was originally green metallic and came with a known good engine. It even had the cool rear window louvers that will hopefully remain with the car. This Datsun is headed to Alabama for restoration.

There’s been a pair of Chevy Nova hatchbacks on the property for as long as I’ve been visiting it, and given how obscure the hatch design is in the Nova lineup, I thought for sure there’d be an enthusiast who needed body panels for a restoration project. Sure enough, a Georgia resident snagged this long-dormant Nova for its clean body panels.

Finally, this Jeep Grand Wagoneer may have been lacking an engine, but its solid body and clean interior meant it was just an engine swap away from being a driver that can either be enjoyed or flipped. A Grand Wagoneer enthusiast from New Hampshire drove down and picked this one up, and it will restored and cruising around New England beach destinations next summer. Feel free to reach out to me if you want more information on anything we’ve listed above.

Do you have a low mileage survivor parked in your garage, shed or barn? Does it need a new home? Please consider listing it here on Barn Finds!

Thanks for the update Jeff. It is good to see that some of the vehicles have found new homes and hopefully a new lease on life. Or in some cases at least some of their parts will live on attached to another vehicle. Please keep on posting the finds from this location.

Might be a little obscure for this location but I’ll keep my eyes peeled…;-)
