Mystery Mopar Muscle Car Stash!

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

This stash of Mopar projects seems almost too good to be true. They can be found here on Craigslist, but unfortunately, there are no list prices for any of them. Also, the only clue to the location of these cars is the map which shows a spot north of Denver, Colorado. The 303 area code on the phone number indicates north-central Colorado, so those two clues are probably a good start. Thanks to Barn Finds reader Snotty for the tip on these great looking cars!

As stated above, there aren’t many details in the ad. Along with the 1964 Belvedere wagon pictured above, the collection also includes the following: 69 Super Bee, 69 Road Runner, 68 Hemi Road Runner, 70 Challenger R/T SE, 69 Dart GTS, and 69 Dart Swinger. If this list is accurate, these are some of the most desirable Mopar muscle cars of the era. You can read more details about the cars in the ad itself. At least there’s a bit of engine and transmission information for most of them.

The cars are in various conditions. Some look like survivors that may make a great project, some appear to be pieced together. There’s even one that is in bare metal and looks like a stalled project. What do you make of this collection? Do you see any diamonds in the rough?

Careful closing the hood on that 69′ Superbee. 440’s are a few inches taller then 383’s and the result will be a broken ram-air. I know first hand.
    Mmmmmm, Mopars!

Mopar make some of the most desirable muscle cars in the late 60’s and early 70’s and also some of the fastest. GTOs used to be my favorites, but the ’71 Cuda has taken over that spot.

I live, and run a shop in Denver, and am pretty sure who is responsible for this.

Interesting bunch of goodies. Being in the Denver area I’m surprised to see a few of these pieces with a good deal of rot. But then, rust never sleeps.Wonder if the Hee-MY roadrunner has the original eng–doesn’t say so I’m assuming it has no mill. Would be fun looking at this stuff especially if its reasonably prices. Watch out for resident rattlesnakes. Good luck and happy hunting!

One day he’ll croak and the hoard will be released. That’s where good stuff comes from these days as the average consumer market has long come and gone for these.
