As some of you likely know, I am helping to clear out a large collection of salvage and project vehicles from a private owner. You can read more about the collection here in Part I; here in Part II; here in Part III; and the latest update in Part IV, readable here. We also have a dedicated post on the trucks in the collection viewable here and an extensive selection of vintage motorcycles and spare parts. Well, the very cool (and restorable) Prairie Schooner camper trailer left the property this weekend, bound for a complete restoration and hopefully, lots of future road trips. For other projects up for grabs, check out the links above or below.
- 1960 Willys Pickup Project
- AMC Javelin SST
- Mercedes W108 Parts Cars
- 1978 Ford Bronco 4×4

And remember, if you have a classic that needs a new home and would like to sell it here on Barn Finds, you can read more about getting it listed here!
Would have loved to see more pictures of the Prairie Schooner
“Open the windows, Ethel! We’s got to air out the old mobile home!” This would be a good opportunity for the new owner to do a full fumigation, bug bomb, etc. Too many times I’ve hauled something from a deep slumber under the whispering pine trees only to import new bugs, critters and odors into my shop. Why not lose all that while the vehicle is on the road to its new resting place.
