Déjà Vu: Stash of Mopar Project Cars

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

If you think you’ve seen some of these cars before, you may have. Some of these autos were on the market in 2018 (yep, five years!) and featured here on Barn Finds and have returned – along with some others. 20 of them were built by Chrysler Corp. in the 1960s and 1970s, plus a couple of Chevies thrown in for good measure. You can find them in Brighton, Colorado, and here on craigslist. If you see anything you like, contact the seller directly to find out what he/she is looking for to get out of the car.

The seller/owner of this “collection” clearly has a thing for Mopars – 11 Dodges, 9 Plymouths, and 1 Chrysler. Somehow a Willys Jeep and a couple of Chevies snuck into the mix. We’re told that some of these machines haven’t run in ages and must be towed away. Most of the infrastructure of these autos is said to be good. If you prepay for any one of these projects, the seller may deliver it to the Dallas area for you.

I wonder what the interior is like in the New Yorker, those came with really nice pillow-top seats. The 340 is a great find, and any of those with the sunroof is rare. I’ve only seen one of these in person, a 74 Charger with the factory sunroof. If the guy is screwy, and can’t make up his mind, or is playing games to try and get as much as he possibly can by dangling the cars and pulling back, thus wasting a buyer’s time, the cars will sit and rot. I dislike people who play games like that, I’m a straightforward person. Either deal in good faith, or don’t waste people’s time.
