Someone on social media with a Facebook account posted a collection of cars here on Facebook Marketplace but doesn’t list where they are or if they are even for sale. Some of them are tucked away safe and sound indoors, while others are outside slowly being reclaimed by Mother Nature. They represent all sorts of nameplates from the 1940s to the 1960s. This would be a great place to visit if for no other reason than to check out all the vintage wheels. Thanks for this post, Chuck Foster (55chevy).
From what we can see here, nothing runs or has the immediate prospect of running. If you were looking for parts to help bring another old car back to life, this might be the place to go. But we don’t know if it’s a junkyard with anything for sale or it’s someone who has just amassed an old collection of Ford, Buicks, and other domestic brands.
From what we can see, the inhabitants of this cadre of old cars include a 1950 Ford, 1953 Buick, 1956 Buick, 1956 (or 55) Ford Victoria, and a 1956 DeSoto. But this is a sampling of the low-hanging fruit. What do you see here that you’d like to know more about?
Why even post this if you don’t know anything about it ?
Stuff like that, abandoned outside for years us usually too far gone to be good for anything. What a shame.
Guess what’s inside like that post war slight custom coupe ?
I see a horde like this and wonder what the story is behind it.
Most likely a guy that just tried to save some and in his later life wasn’t able to do so much until he passed. Now someone is taking pictures and fishing them out there, Sad but some guys are always just hunting a piece of missing chrome.
So sad to see cars sitting outside like that but it would be interesting to see the original post.
So someone is selling a Junk Yard?
100000 dollars for what? Selling land and garage too? People need to quit whatching reality car shows.
Exactly, there isn’t much about them that can be classed as “reality” anyway. When they start haggling about buying and selling prices I mute the conversation as we all know it’s a lot of BS.
Where is 100K (or any price at all) mentioned?
I see nothing but picture in the FB posting.
There are a lot of cars here, and quite a few pictures of some, but the most interesting one (the 30s coupe) is barely visible in the back ground. Of course there’s no information at all so who knows the purpose of this.
It was showing a location of Linden Virginia, when you went to the ad all it showed were the pictures, weird. Who’s from Linden VA?
