Collection of Dodge Darts and Other Mopars

UPDATE 4/11/22: This collection of old Chrysler products keeps popping up for sale on different places on the internet. We don’t know if any of them have moved on to new homes yet and their condition differs widely. We’re told the asking prices for most of them is $5,900 and higher.

_______________________________

Located outdoors near Denver, Colorado is a collection of Dodge Darts and other Mopar products. They represent almost every model year between 1967-77.  Thrown in for good measure from Dodge is a Challenger, Charger, and a Coronet, plus from Plymouth a Duster and a Valiant, and even a Chrysler New Yorker. The seller says most of these cars haven’t run in years, so expect more work with some than others. The starting price seems to begin at $5,990, but you’d have to contact the seller to find out how much each of these projects will go for. This tip comes by way of our own Adam Clarke and the “collection” is available here on craigslist.

From the Dodge Boys Dart family:

1969 Dodge Dart GTS – originally equipped with a 340 small-block, but now sports a 318; has an automatic transmission

1969 Dodge Dart Swinger – also a 340 V8 originally, but now a 318 with an automatic

1969 Dodge Dart Swinger – has an 8 ¾ rear end and front disc brakes

1972 Dodge Dart Swinger – no information

1975 Dodge Dart Sport 360 – called The Demon in 1971-72; this one has a sunroof

1975 Dodge Dart – has a 4-speed manual plus a factory sunroof

Cars other than a Dodge Dart:

1967 Plymouth Valiant – 2 door sedan with an 8 ¾ rear end and disc brakes

1970 Plymouth Duster – former race car with a 360 V8

1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee (clone) – 440 big-block V8

1972 Dodge Challenger – no information

1973 Dodge Charger Rallye 400

1977 Chrysler New Yorker  — candidate for the demolition derby or a parts car

If you’ve been wanting to restore a Chrysler Corp. compact from the 1967-76 era, maybe there’s something here to work with. Or take home a couple of them and merge their contents into one!

“Most starting at $5900”. For non-running dented up rusted project cars??
None of these cars is that rare or valuable! You could get a running car in nice shape for this amount! He’s dreaming.

For most of them, yes, but the 340 cars listed, depending on their condition obviously, could be worth close to that. BUT… it also sounds like they don’t have their original 340s, so that will knock them down a bunch. Who knows. Either way, if any of the GTS’s are very solid and good resto starting points, it may not be that far off.

The 340 cars are cool, but Non-Original motors. And 318’s at that. 340’s of those years aren’t that easy to get. At least on the cheap. Paid $3500+ for a wrecked 69′ Swinger @5yrs ago. And have had offers higher just for the engine. Getting it put back together as I type. Thanks to Driven Garage..formally Alloy Mtrs. in Oakland Ca.

The only car that looks slightly interesting is the ’69 Plymouth in the background…if it’s a Road Runner, that is, and not a 6-cylinder Satellite. Well, I suppose a 383HP, 4-speed Belvedere would be cool too.

It’s a ’68. The front fender turn signals are round, ’69 were rectangular. Looks like a pillar/post model but can’t be sure.
