The Honda City Turbo II was a small, high-performance mini car built in Japan. Nicknamed “Bulldog,” this vehicle was never exported to the U.S. during its production run from 1983 to 1986. Equipped with right-hand drive, this mint example is a one-owner vehicle that must have been arranged for it to be shipped to the States along with a Honda Motocompo, which was an option for last-mile commuting. Located in Loganville, Georgia, the pair are offered together here on Facebook Marketplace for a lofty $55,000 OBO. Kudos to “PRA4SNW” for this weird tip.
Microcars are commonplace in Japan because of the number of people versus square miles. Aptly named City, this little Honda from 1984 is a Turbo II, which came with a turbocharged and intercooled 1.2-liter fuel-injected 4-cylinder engine. Weighing in at only 1,600 lbs., this little commuter was super-fast thanks to its 110 horsepower. You could even get an extra 10 horses for a few seconds by pushing the “Scramble Boost” button. Not only did it go fast, but it also looked fast with a bulge in the hood and fender flares and side skirts.
A popular option was the foldable Honda Motocompo scooter with a 49cc 4-stroke engine. It fit right into the trunk of the City in case you had to park far away from your ultimate destination. This little car has traveled 46,000 miles, whether here or back in Japan. We’re told the “Bulldog” is like a brand-new automobile and even comes with air conditioning and an Alpine radio. It runs and drives perfectly and could be the only one like it around, especially coming with the scooter as a bonus. If you feel the asking price is fair, then you should be able to shock everyone with it’s get up and go and versatility.

I agree, sky high price for something with very little following. But maybe the seller knows something that we don’t.
